DESCRIPTION:Perfect for beginners or improvers\, these 5 classes take you through a project each week\, where you will learn valuable techniques\, tips and advice while creating a beautiful painting to take home. \nWorking from organic subject such as plants\, flowers\, fruit and feathers – Helen will guide you through\, step-by-step using pencil\, watercolour and pen & ink. \nAll equipment and materials are provided as well as top class refreshments from Tower Barn Café. \nThe cost is £45 per class or you can book all 5 classes for £200 (saving £25.00)\, or you can choose individual ones to suit you. \nWeek 1- Monday 20th June 2022  (9.30 – 11.30) \nFeathers – Introduction to watercolours \, observation\, looking at tonal values and building up layers. \nWeek 2- Monday 27th June 2022  (9.30 – 11.30) \nPeppers – Introducing more colour\, shading\, highlights\, lifting out and colour mixing. \nWeek 3- Monday 4th July 2022  (9.30 – 11.30) \nHerbs – Looking at plants\, mixing greens\, producing a beautiful sampler of various herbs\, working from life. \nWeek 4- Monday 11th July 2022  (9.30 – 11.30) \nHouse Plants – Shape\, colour and form – creating an attractive study of a house plant\, working from life. \nWeek 5- Monday 18th 2022  (9.30 – 11.30) \nFloral composition – Producing a finished\, stylised watercolour painting of a beautiful bloom from life. \nHelen is an experienced tutor\, having taught classes for many years as well as exhibiting her work in galleries up and down the country.
